Another Sunday Majors Flop
As I had Monday off work, I decided to give the major Sunday online tournaments a spin, and unfortunately didn’t play well at all.
I think I entered about 6 tournaments, including the $500 Full Tilt million, and didn’t get close to cashing in any of them. I concluded in the dead of night last night, that I simply don’t enjoy playing online tournaments any more. Despite my big cashes in 2007/2008, I just don’t have the motivation to sit alone in front of the laptop alone for hours on end. This results in my losing discipline and playing way too loose.
I don’t think going through any of the hands is of much interest - it was a standard bag of handing out bad beats, suffering bad beats and making good/poor judgements (mostly poor ones evidently).
I think it will be live poker only for me for a while, at least until Vegas is over. It seems when I go to a live venue my concentration is miles higher than when I play online. Or perhaps I’ve just lost the ability to multi-table, who knows.
