Volcano - The Movie!
I saw on a poker forum that someone had used extranormal.com to construct a scene where one player is complaining to another about a bad beat he received. For anyone not familiar, extranormal is a fun site that allows you to direct little computerised films. Since I was a bit bored on Friday, I decided to recreate a classic piece of Loose Cannon cash game history:
The Cast
”The Volcano”
- Tight aggressive Kiwi cash player. Extremely temperamental. Once walked home from central London to Notting Hill following a bad beat to DeAnna. Also once called me an arsehole for shoving on him with pocket tens.
“Jimbo”
- Volcano confidante. Listens to the Volcano’s bad beats. Has heard the phrase “What’s the point” more than any other living human.
“The Baron”
- Loose aggressive occasional spewtard. The very embodiment of a player type the Volcano hates playing.
